We sent an official request to the committee trying to understand why the committee works so slowly, and why it’s not being transparent, despite what’s written in its mandate. We previously requested audience with the committee, in order to present the information we possess to the committee.

This happens after years of public and legal efforts. The State Inquiry Committee was established. We sent an official request to the committee, asking to present the information we possess to the committee.

Our Investigative department got hold of evidence regarding the affair; Our legal department petitioned the Supreme Court and got the Justices to state how important it is to fully investigate this affair; And all of us participated in demonstrations calling for a full investigations. Together with former senior officers we met with the previous Prime Ministers and other ministers, and got them to understand the severity of the affair. After all these years – finally, the government approved the establishment of the committee.
